Own Villas, one of the most incredible villas I've stayed at by far, you can't help but feel overwhelmed by this destination. A warm welcome awaits you at the gate followed by a freshly cooked entre and a delicious dragon fruit smoothie. The service provided is absolutely incredible, staff were over accommodating when attending to our needs. Fancy breakfast in bed or floating in the pool? Some of the most appetising food I had tasted in Indonesia was by the private chef at Own Villas. We stayed in the poolside villa, an enchanting hut interiors designed head to toe to blow you away as you walk in. Our host provided us with a phone if we found ourselves lost in the streets or simply needed to contact a staff member.
(This is incredibly helpful when you and your travel buddy lose your phones clubbing in Seminyak...) Waking up a couple of feet before the pool to a breakfast awaiting outside was like a dream. I would highly recommend a couple of nights in this villa, as the staff here really do there best to create a dreamlike getaway for you.

The infamous lily pad pool has been on my Bali bucket list for quite some time. Located in Jalan Pantai Bingin Uluwatu, Bali lies the ultimate hideaway destination. The villa isn't called "Secret Spot" for no reason. Upon arrival, we found it quite difficult to pin point the address, after circling the streets at 2am we finally found our secret spot! Below I've attached a map to make life a little easier. However, the villas are beautifully secluded making this the perfect getaway destination.
As you walk through there's a beautiful sent that flows through the air from the constant burning of in cents. You can book in a massage outside in the garden or lay on an outdoor bed hidden in a nook with a library of books to read from.
Our bathroom reminded us of the cave-like room we stayed at when travelling in Santorini, I've included a video below. As you enter the villa you realise the space itself is a sturdy hut, this was an incredible experience as it's felt like you were sleeping outside listening to the swaying of the trees and the nature surrounding. I would definitely recommend Sal Secret Spot if you're looking for time to spend relaxing with that special someone.
We found searching 'Jalan Mertasari Bungalow' in maps as the most accurate address.
Australian swimwear designer Bianca Elouise is making Vogue headlines with her cheeky cuts and celebrity sitings in ‘Myra swim’. Her designs have caught the likes of A list celebrities Jlo, Karrueche and Kardasian sisters Kim and Kourtney with featured articles in multiple magazines like Elle, WMag, Marie Claire and Vouge. I had the opportunity to interview Bianca and find out a little more about her and her brand.
Why did you decide to move to Atlanta? And how do you think it affected your swimwear line ?
Bianca: I live in Atlanta with my boyfriend of 3 years. It hasn't affected my business at all in a negative way if anything its helped me boost it more as I focus on the US market and Atlanta is central to all major cities in the USA.
Does the name "Myra" stand for something ?
Bianca: Myra is my grand mothers name. On my fathers side. So the name of my brand has a lot of meaning to it.
Why did you create your swimwear line?
Bianca: I grew up traveling the world competing as a professional long board surfer. From as early as I remember I lived in the ocean so as I grew older my taste for fashion grew stronger and I combined both together and here I am.
Do you think Myra swim has influenced the way in which women feel good in there body shape?
Bianca: That is a major key in my designs, fabric and finishes. I want to feel confident in myself in a bathing suit so I strive for others to feel the same way.
What has been the most challenging aspect of creating Myra swim?
Bianca: Business management, Im always learning. I do a large majority running the business myself. Finance can be a curse and a blessing. So the accounting side of things has for sure been the most challenging.
Also along with being a boss. Having staff under you, hiring people and firing people. Its a lot of especially when you want your company represented and run perfectly.
What has been one of your most memorable moments you've had in your career?
Bianca: Iv'e had many. But one that stands out was my first runway show at Miami swim week in 2016. Second would be my sports illustrated feature this year.
What are your future goals for Myra Swim?
Bianca: Expanding and growing! I just want my business to keep growing! I have retailer I'm aiming to get into which is my main focus at the moment.
What or who do you draw inspiration from when creating a new line?
Bianca: My whole brand is fuelled from 80/90s swim.
I use a lot of inspiration from vintage calendars and magazines. Especially iconic super models.
Any tips for staring your own business ?
Bianca: I have none. I get asked all the time this question and honestly I was given no advice when I started so I don't know how to answer that question. If anything just do it, So don't second yourself.
Finally, who would you love to see in Myra Swim ?
Bianca: My all time fav was JLO and that happened twice this past month.
Next I would love to see Beyonce!
